Tatworth Middle Field

The discovery of a rare map of 1599 - which showed how the complicated
Mediaeval plough strips would be replaced by the present hedgerows - was
the chance to do a detailed study of the area. This year was also historically important: a point nationally when strip exchange was changing to total
landscape re-planning.
